Summary:

Infotel UK Consulting is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chennai. As part of our transformation programs, you will play a crucial role in boarding our applications on the IBM cloud by 2026. This full-time, permanent position requires collaboration with various teams, including Engineering, Infrastructure, and Development, to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments.

Key Responsibilities

<ul>
 <li>Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts for automation.</li>
 <li>Work on containerization of legacy applications.</li>
 <li>Assist and train other operations profiles on Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.</li>
 <li>Focus on provisioning, configuration, deployment, and disaster recovery.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications / Requirements

<ul>
 <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.</li>
 <li>5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering.</li>
 <li>At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with a Cloud provider (IBM/AWS/Azure/Google).</li>
 <li>At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible/Docker.</li>
 <li>Strong knowledge of Linux platform and CLI.</li>
 <li>Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred).</li>
</ul>

Preferred Skills / Attributes

<ul>
 <li>Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse, etc.).</li>
 <li>Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li>
 <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li>
 <li>Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294).</li>
 <li>Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification.</li>
