Summary:

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) is seeking a skilled Finance & AI Analyst to join their Finance & Accounting department in the APAC region. This full-time, permanent role involves a 50/50 split between financial analysis and the implementation of AI solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their financial expertise and AI proficiency to drive data-driven insights, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

<ul>
 <li>Produce structured, high-quality financial analysis across commercial finance, FP&A, and financial reporting.</li>
 <li>Draw conclusions, identify risks and opportunities, and present clear recommendations to senior leadership.</li>
 <li>Build financial models to support business decisions and medium to long-term strategic planning.</li>
 <li>Ensure data consistency and accuracy across core systems including D365, IBMPA, and Power BI.</li>
 <li>Utilize AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot as core working tools.</li>
 <li>Design reusable prompts and AI-assisted workflows for recurring finance tasks.</li>
 <li>Stay across the rapidly evolving AI landscape, testing new tools, features, and capabilities as they emerge.</li>
 <li>Build and maintain an AI playbook for APAC finance that captures successful prompts, workflows, tools, and use cases.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications / Requirements

<ul>
 <li>CA qualified (ICAI, ACA or equivalent) with 3-8 years of post-qualification experience.</li>
 <li>Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent).</li>
 <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency including lookups, conditional formulas, and pivot tables.</li>
 <li>Experience with Power BI or a similar business intelligence tool.</li>
 <li>Strong understanding of how AI works, including how models function at a fundamental level.</li>
 <li>High proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate complex financial and analytical concepts clearly.</li>
</ul>

Preferred Skills / Attributes

<ul>
 <li>Experience with an integrated multidimensional forecasting tool such as IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or equivalent.</li>
 <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.</li>
 <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.</li>
 <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
 <li>Experience in the Retail industry.</li>
